Hey guys! You might have noticed that for my titles I write dance phrases or quotes. Today I am going to tell you what this quote means. You know how I am in The Children's Nutcracker right? Well in rehearsal we had a little floor problem. We were slipping all over the place. So we decided to put rosin on the floor so we won't slip. Although we put to much rosin on the floor. The rosin was on the floor for decent amount before the Russian dance came, but it could have been longer. When the Russian dance did come we were completely fine for the first seven eighths of the dance but our finally was just horrible. Our lead Russian was doing coffee grinders but the rubber bottom of her jazz shoe stuck to the rosin and she hurt her toe. We thought it was just something that would wear off but it hasn't. The next jazz class she was wearing a boot for her toe. She has had to miss a lot of dance because of it. I feel so bad for her. Especially because the performance of The Nutcracker is only a few weeks away. She might be fine by then, but what if shes not?
